PRESENTATION NIGHT - WINTER SEASON 2026
What a fantastic night celebrating another wonderful season at SPJ Netball Club!
Our 2026 Presentation Night brought together our players, families, coaches, volunteers and supporters to celebrate the Winter season, recognise some special achievements and, most importantly, enjoy the night together as a club.
It was wonderful to see so many of our SPJ families there and to look back on another busy season both on and off the court.
Celebrating Our Players
Throughout the evening we celebrated our teams and presented our season awards, recognising the effort, improvement and achievements of our players throughout the year.
We are incredibly proud of all of our SPJ teams this season, from our youngest players right through to our 17 & Under teams.
Of course, there was also plenty to celebrate after an amazing Grand Final Day, with SPJ 1, SPJ 3 and SPJ 7 all finishing the season as Winter 2026 Premiers!

Raffle & Silent Auction
Our Presentation Night also included our raffle and silent auction, with some fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses, organisations and members of our community. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated and to everyone who purchased tickets or placed a bid on the night.
All funds raised went directly towards fundraising for SPJ Netball Club,
helping us continue to support our players and club into the future.

Thank You to Our SPJ Community
A netball season takes an enormous amount of work behind the scenes, and we are very lucky to have so many people willing to give their time to our club.
A huge thank you to our coaches, team managers, scorers, umpires, committee members, volunteers and families for everything you contributed throughout the season.
Whether you coached every week, helped on the sidelines, scored, umpired, volunteered at an event, answered messages, organised teams or simply made sure everyone arrived where they needed to be, thank you!
And One Thank You We Didn't Get to Say on the Night...
There was one very important thank you that somehow escaped on Presentation Night.
Of course, our President Cara does most of the speaking at these events, which is very convenient because it means she gets to thank absolutely everyone… except herself! And we are definitely not letting her get away with that.
The amount of work Cara puts into SPJ is honestly ridiculous. Somehow she runs the club, coaches two teams, deals with all of us, answers about 400 messages a day… and apparently still decided she had a bit of spare time.
So this year, she also joined the Rep program as a coach alongside Naomi, which, naturally, she completely failed to mention on the night!
We are incredibly proud of her for taking that next step, although we are starting to seriously question whether Cara actually has more hours in the day than the rest of us!
To coach at Rep level, coach two SPJ teams and still keep this whole club running is a massive effort, and so much of what Cara does happens quietly behind the scenes.
So Cara, unfortunately for you, you don't get to skip your own thank you.
A very big and very well-deserved thank you from all of us at SPJ Stars!
