REPRESENTATIVE NETBALL

Every year, representative netball programs provide players with opportunities to trial for selection in higher‑level squads. These squads are typically made up of talented players selected from across multiple clubs and associations.

The Lilydale & Yarra Valley Netball Association (LYVNA) offers representative pathways for players within the Association, with teams selected to compete in tournaments and competitions throughout the year across age groups from Under 11 through to Open. Players interested in the LYVNA representative program can find out more via the LYVNA website or speak with their coach about other representative programs. Trials for most squads happen occur around September/October.

In addition to LYVNA representative teams, many SPJ Stars players also trial for and participate in other representative programs, academies, development squads and external associations. We want to support all players who pursue representative opportunities at any level and celebrate their achievements throughout the season. ​​
